Yoga Instructor | RYT200
Tyler received his yoga training from Ryan Bailey, instructor and owner of Yoga Reclaimed, in the summer of 2014. Born and raised in Lodi, Tyler wants to do all he can do give back to the community. His practice is centered around a Vinyasa flow, but he also loves to bring new things to the table. He enjoys incorporating a wall into his practice for a sense of stability to work on the more challenging poses. While a wall class has the illusion of making some poses easier, it also intensifies other poses to make for a much deeper stretch. Acro yoga, however, is another one of his favorite styles of yoga because it builds strength, balance, and most of all, trust between two people. Acro might sound a little intimidating at first, but you'd be surprised what you can accomplish once you put your mind to it. Tyler is a firm believer in positive vibes and open minds that like to try new things, because it's in this space where we learn the most about our practice and about ourselves.
"Sometimes in the winds of change, we find our true direction"
I actually started yoga as a desperate attempt to lose weight, but I fell in love with it for every other reason. I practice today more for peace of mind than to burn calories. Weight loss is a side effect of yoga, but not the reason I continue to practice.
